Linda Kollmar, MD, FACC is an Executive Director at Merck in Global Medical Affairs, Oncology. She leads the Medical Consult and Review Physician team and is the Patient Advocate Lead for Medical Affairs - Oncology. Her physician team reviews all of Merck’s Oncology promotional material. Prior to this role she was an Executive Director in the Office of the Chief Patient Officer where she was responsible for leading and enabling the planning and execution of patient engagement activities to ensure that the patient’s perspective remained central to Merck’s work in Oncology. She collaborated with partners inside and outside of Merck to solicit and include the voices of the patients in and across the Merck enterprise.

Prior to this role, she worked at Merck in the Medical Information department for 7 years, where her focus was first on Cardiovascular medicines and then moved to Oncology in 2013 where she supported the launch of Keytruda for Melanoma and Lung Cancer.

Before joining Merck, she worked in private practice as a Non-Invasive Cardiologist. She graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History. She earned her Medical Degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and her Cardiology Fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital.
